Olympic Games Monterrey 2020. Jacques Rogge, president of the International Olympic Committee has announced their intention to have the Olympic Games in Latin America “in the near future”.

Monterrey is the city with the best conditions in the region to host them; because besides its leadership and social and economic strength, it is located in the north hemisphere (summer in August, so different from South America) and it is in the American TV Central Time Zones. Therefore is ideal to get all the support from world wide sponsors.

Monterrey International Stadium has all the requested specifications by the International Olympic Committee and has in its design a platform where a race and track field can be installed. This allows Monterey to compete, with a great advantage, to be the host for the Olympic Games 2020.

Monterrey achieves all the conditions to compete to be the host of the most relevant international events in the world.

Monterrey International Stadium has the first world infrastructure needed to host such events, and through that Monterrey will be positioned as a global attraction.

Soccer World Championship

Soccer World Championship, México 2018. Mexico has very solid possibilities to be the host for the world championship 2018. FIFA recently confirmed the chances that our country has for that. Stadium infrastructure is fundamental for hosting our third world championship. Monterrey International Stadium is our ace for this aspiration.

During the world championships held in Mexico in 70 and 86, Monterrey not a single opening, semifinal or final game was played in Monterrey; all of them took place in Mexico City, Guadalajara and Puebla.

Monterrey International Stadium, being the best place in Mexico, it is the ideal candidate to host the opening, semifinal and one of the final games in the next World Championship that FIFA can organize in Mexico.
